She's Vice President, Special Initiatives at The United Way of Greater Kansas City
Ms. Hill will be sworn in on Jan. 28 and will serve until a new City Council takes office on Aug. 1, 2015.
She's a good choice and will hopefully make up for the mess that disgraced Pastor Brooks left in his wake.
