Court documents charge a trio Kansas City adult teens are charged with pistol-whipping and shooting eighth-grader Alexis Kane. Today, they were denied bond and face a slew of charges with some witness reports.
"A judge on Monday ordered three Kansas City teens charged in the killing of 14-year-old Alexis Kane to be held without bond. The suspects — Isaac M. Carter, 17, Ce-Antonyo D. Kennedy, 17, and Dominic McDaniel, 18 — made their initial court appearances Monday morning in Jackson County Circuit Court."

ReplyDeleteThese boys must misunderstand why they're before the Judge. Judge Byrn is a strict judge. All due process requires is that the Defendants have access to an attorney. Everything else smells like a conviction, especially given the surveillance footage. They will face the death penalty. Too bad they made such terrible choices so early on in their life.
ReplyDeleteMr. Carter has had a tough life. He and his siblings were the subject of a fatherless home. His father did not contest paternity. It's really a shame. This is the result when men abandon their children. His father was born in 1978 and has three kids with Mr. Carter's mother. It's all very tragic.
