Just as our blog community predicted . . . The Kansas City Chiefs disappointed today and continue their typical end of season downward slide.
To wit . . .
THE KANSAS CITY CHIEFS ARE FINISHED THIS SEASON AND ONCE AGAIN FAILED TO LIVE UP TO EARLY SEASON HYPE!!!
Just a few lowlights . . .
- Again, Alex Smith is NOT A TOP RANKING NFL CALIBER QUARTERBACK . . . He just doesn't have the skills or the support to lead a team into the playoffs and he has demonstrated this fact time after time this season.
- From the O-Line to the secondary . . . The team just wasn't up to snuff during crunch time. This was an all around mediocre performance from everyone amid an embarrassing 20-12 blowout.
- Fanboys need to STOP complaining about bad calls . . . Only losers blame their fate on the refs. The Steelers also had their share of bad calls but prevailed anyhoo.
- Just a bit of Kansas City thuggery at the end of the game from the Chiefs demonstrating that they lack class as well as talent.
Sadly, during this whole season the MSM was unable to really question this team or press the front office because of their compromised relationship based on advertising dollars. Only our blog community was allowed to express skepticism about the LIE that the Chiefs would follow the Royals into a post-season second place "success" story that has now proven to be nothing more than hype.

There is still a chance they could make the playoffs. You gotta believe!
