The president did not have one word of criticism for Michael Brown. Not once did he say it’s a bad idea to get high on marijuana and commit strong-arm robbery. Not once did he say it’s a bad idea to punch a policeman. Not once did he say it’s a bad idea to try to grab an officer’s gun. Not once did he say it’s a bad idea to head towards a policeman who has already fired a few shots at you. People who do those things—whatever their race—have an excellent chance of being shot, and that’s exactly as it should be.
The president did pronounce the words, “there’s never an excuse for violence,” but he wasn’t talking about Michael Brown. He was asking angry blacks—who were already throwing bottles at the police in Ferguson—to direct their righteous rage in “constructive ways
The problem is violent criminals, not a “deeply flawed” justice system. This is dazzlingly, blindingly obvious to anyone not completely addled by a college education and MSNBC. Ordinary Americans understand this, and they will flood talk radio and dominate the comments sections on news sites. But you’ll be able to count on the fingers of one hand the elected officials or commentators who say anything about Ferguson that isn’t feel-good foolishness or outright anti-white nastiness.

Do I have to put up with shit bags 24/7? Nope. Whatever police violence incidents exist they sure as hell aren't close to the shit that was going on years ago under guys like Bishop. I don't defend it, but cleaning out the non-pro old school bulls takes a lot of work and a local press that doesn't close it's collective eyes.
I see they were burning churches in Ferguson. I see where one of the churches was the one the Brown family attends.

(Just prior to this call he had stayed with the mother of a two-month-old infant in distress until EMS could come to the scene.)
2. For all Ms. McSpadden's histrionics, she was so close to her son that he LIVED WITH HIS GRANDMOTHER.

This "gentle giant" was a thief, a bully, he initiated and paid the ultimate price for a violent encounter with a police officer. To make him the poster child for injustice is an insult to Rosa Parks, Charlie Sifford and others. There are no black leaders left, there are no more MLK's we are left with sad sad caricatures of what was once a truly noble movement. If there were black leaders they would fully embrace the grand jury decision and thank officer Wilson for removing this shitstain from their community. They would be telling parents that the path to a better life is teaching your children to not steal, don't smoke dope, respect laws and don't try to be the biggest baddest idiot on the block - that shits gonna get you killed. Just heard an interview with the music group Wu-Tang Clan. In response to a question, member "RZA" was giving a justification for why they had signed with Warner Music instead of being an independent group. He sounded like a real fan of corporate control of the music industry.
He also was complaining about people who "pirate" music without paying for it, and spoke at length about how artists were getting ripped off.
So, against the backdrop of Ferguson anti-police, anti-Establishment protests occurring across the country, I found it amusing that a group like Wu-Tang Clan were speaking in favor of corporate power and respect for the law.
I suppose when your own money is at stake, you're eager to call for the police and demand justice. At some point in the future, when these protestors are in trouble and call 911, I hope they remember what an asshole they were in November 2014.
A protest AGAINST Michael Brown in support of Officer Wilson is being planned today on the Plaza. A group is meeting at the fountains at 5pm TODAY (11/26/14) - TELL YOUR FRIENDS & HELP SPREAD THE WORD. More importantly, call the TV stations and newspapers and tell them to cover this! Both sides have a voice - it's time the public sees and hears from those in support of the decision!!! Please show up and please get others!

Although I don't think that the Mike Brown case has anything to do with racism. The Mike Brown case was unfortunately politicized. Police brutality does exist. But, Mike Brown is not the poster child for those who wish to protest police brutality, though many seem to think he is. Mike Brown made an error in judgement and he paid the price. I hope Darren Wilson will be able to find a new life. I heard that the NY Times recently published his home address. If anything happens to Darren Wilson, the NYT will have blood on their hands.
