"An Emanuel Cleaver supporter working outside a polling place at 31st and Prospect in Kansas City, Missouri, Tuesday morning, bullied a Jacob Turk campaign worker who was placing a Turk sign at the location.
David Bernal, the Turk volunteer, said he was placing his sign 25 feet from the entrance to the polling place - next to the others - when a large African American man with a clipboard told him he couldn't do that, and said he would tear the sign down as soon as Bernal left."
It would be easier to accept this story at face value if ANYBODY believed that Turk had real shot . . . On the other hand, given that Kansas City's least favorite blogger can always be found on the wrong side of the velvet rope, TKC can attest to that fact that big dudes with clipboards can crush all hope.

ReplyDeleteAs a citizen of the 5th district, I just assume that as long as Cleaver wants the job, he will have it. He is flat out worthless, and is fast becoming a career politician...looking at his time in DC as a vacation (receptions, dinners, parties, etc), rather than a calling.

i know dave bernal he is an ex-FBI agent, he was not going to back down and oh by the way, Jake Turk, as you call him, will never eat s***, he came within 7 percent of Cleaver, I dont like racial slurs about Cleaver, I dont agree with most of his politics but dave bernal was excersising his right of free speech, Jacob Turk (not Jake) can win if the republican party would give a little care to these people in kansas city i dont know if he will run in 2016 but seriously, Jacob will persevere, no matter what comes our way.
