Over the years our blog community has documented a tragic fact of life for Kansas City and our reputation as a notable city going down the drain.
Remember that Kansas City has expressed a great deal of pride in our "City Of Fountains" moniker.
However, the current budget crisis has closed many fountains, begged for donations for crumbling fountains and constantly warned the city that there isn't money in the budget to maintain the fountains in Kansas City, Missouri.

Meanwhile, most of this town's resources have been wasted on a tiny toy train line.
