  5. Sure its a good cause, but are there not higher priorities we should be funding first? i.e. Violent crime. This is a compassionate cause, but we should ensure we protect persons before pets.

  6. They can't capture the folks guilty of adult abuses and murders and they want to add more to their workload for animals? Not that it's unimportant but with a murder rate as high as it is, they're not getting anything right so far. Gimme a break!

  8. Yes. This is good. People who hurt animals are the same people who hurt people, in case you think people are more important. Animal cruelty is one of the three indicators for potential serial murderers. Plus it's horrible! Good for you, KCPD.
