Agree or not, it's a fact that there has been a significant protest movement in Kansas City aimed at fighting against alleged instances of police brutality from #Ferguson solidarity, to Anthony Bruno debate and other recent officer-involved shootings.
The movement has grown more organized and from the looks of this video they're able to draw several dozen protesters during the middle of the day . . . A feat that many partisan political groups can't always claim and testament to the national trend that starts with national efforts to "demilitarize" the police and then continues into smaller neighborhood advocacy.

TKC , you might want to mention that this also speaks to the high level of unemployment in KCMO if people are doing this stuff in the middle of the day.

Go back to work, or get a job, or get back to class, or enroll in one, or mow the lawn and get that crap and litter out of your yard, and pick up your dog's poop, or read to your children, or drop in on their school just to say "hello" and see if they need any help, or actually attend parent/ teacher conferences, or volunteer or raise a little money for people trying to do the right thing, or mentor a youth (if you have any actual experience or skills,) join Big Brothers Big Sisters, go to church if you like, join a philanthropy like Elks, Masons, Knights of Columbus (it doesn't matter,) run for a local office or school board, attend a lecture, take your kids to the library, or the zoo ( just not on the "free" days,) possibly vote, make a great huge dinner and invite all your neighbors or friends, sit on your front porch, wave at your neighbors, or paint the side of your house even if it's a rental ( I guarantee the landlord will provide the paint if they're smart) or just detail your fuckin' car for Christ's sakes...
Oh yeah, Don't rob people then go for the cop's gun... Or shoot at them either with a stolen weapon...
