Show-Me Harsh Time Missouri AG Chris Koster Now Threatened By Investigation

We talked about this shocking NYT investigation yesterday and the fallout since that time seems to be a good, old-fashioned, Missouri pile-on and SERIOUS INVESTIGATION . . . No, we didn't bother to run Kansas City Dead Tree Media quoting Koster's excuses because it was embarrassing and it's also funny to watch national media make the locals look silly.

Brief aside . . . This is why still expect SOS Kander to step-up and take his dream job . . . AND local-yokel Democrats are now getting a sense of how serious Sen.   1. Koster's actions shouldn't surprise anyone. He is the very definition of an opportunist. What is surprising is that the media exposes this. Must be clearing the deck for someone they like better.

  2. What's surprising is it took the New York Times to expose it. Where are our local investigative journalists? Oh. I forgot. They've all been laid off in order to keep Jenee, Lewis, and the dog guy off the unemployment roles.

  5. Bet Sanders is rubbing his joint in pure anticipation. He probably thinks this gives him a shot at a statewide office.
    What a jerk!

    As for the Star lay offs how many of you subscribe to the daily paper? In my neighborhood about 1/4 of the houses get the Star.

    Still and all employing Sanchez and Hoops is counter intuitive to keeping readership.
