Let's Celebrate Kansas City's Long Forgotten Union Station Centennial History!!!

Witness Kansas City still clinging to the legacy of rail transit more than 100 years after its zenith.

Celebrate corporate office space funded by a bi-state tax that was supposed to create a tourist attraction that never came to fruition.

(And yes, if anybody ever REALLY checked the books . . . The place still loses money every year when factoring in the debt that local newsies always are encouraged to neglect.)

  1. Will George Guestello run thru Union Station dressed in his "secret" Victoria's Secret wardrobe? Paid for by KC taxpayers.

    What a fag.

  2. Union Station and Free.....now that'10/31/14, 6:29 AM

FREE and Union Station don't go together.

Everyone, with even a small brain, knows that Union Station is bought and paid by TAXPAYER MONEY. There is nothing profitable about Union Station.

It's time to stop funding 501-3c's with TAXPAYER MONEY.

You can bank one thing. If Guestello is involved with it, the taxpayer is getting screwed. Fuzzy math, bought and paid for by the Chamber of Commerce and their number 1 bitch.

  3. Turn the place into a city run casino with a roaring twenties theme. We could not only take a tax break for the next 20 years, but we can toss the embezzling bureaucrats into prison and finally clean house.
