TKC EXCLUSIVE FACT CHECK: TOP FIVE REASONS KANSAS CITY MUST IGNORE ROYALS WILDCARD WINNING!!!

Kansas City is overjoyed with a minor victory and right now we can't help but join the local celebration.

However . . .

CHECK THE TOP FIVE REASONS TO IGNORE THE KANSAS CITY ROYALS WILDCARD WINNING!!!

This isn't reactionary hateraton . . . Remember that a TOP TKC INSIDER told us the team was gonna be pretty good at the outset of the season.

Instead this list should serve as a guide for fans who want to continue local winning ways rather than peak prematurely with a relatively minor improvement in the grand scheme of things.

To wit . . .

HERE ARE THE TOP FIVE REASONS KANSAS CITY ROYALS FANS MUST IGNORE THE WILDCARD VICTORY!!!

Here we go . . .

The Season Isn't Over Yet

Seriously, so much fanboy jubilation basically forgets that the last couple of games are really important and there could be even more cause for celebration.

Politicos Are Already Trying To Take Credit For This One

Jackson County taxpayers have provided elected officials with access and, tragically, a great forum to push their message amid crowds that just want to hear cheering from anybody . . . .

Playoff Jinx

The current level of Kansas City Wildcard cheering is simply unsustainable. Just like KC ruins every white player with overwrought and undying support, this latest development could be killed by fanboy smothering.

Kansas City Royals Ownership Should Really Be Ashamed

Making the playoffs after so many years of post-season drought should really be an embarrassment for Kansas City and not a time for partying. The lack of a competitive baseball team in Kansas City for more than a generation reminds us of broken promises, empty hype and so many longstanding complaints.

Kansas City Has Changed Since '85 And Fanboy Partying Is A Much More Dangerous Proposition Nowadays

This one is more important than the rest . . . Royals partying is a public safety concern given that Sept. has been the bloodiest month in Kansas City so far this year as most of the Summer was spent dealing with fighting mobs in local entertainment districts across the metro.

For these reasons and so many more . . . Kansas City might want to play it cool rather than treat this event like a World Series Win.

Check the links . . . .

KMBC: The Kansas City Royals defeated the White Sox in Chicago on Friday night, securing their first postseason appearance since 1985.

ESPN: The last time the Royals made it to the playoffs, George Brett led Kansas City to a World Series victory over St. Louis in 1985.

USA Today: That Royals win, along with the Minnesota Twins’ win over the Detroit Tigers means that Kansas City is one game back with two to play. But never mind that.

KCTV5: Party like it's 1985! Kansas City Royals secure playoff berth

Fox4: Kansas City secured at least a wild card and ended the longest active postseason drought among the major North American sports leagues.

  3. Tony,

It's all perspective. Why not focus on the good that surrounds us everyday? The light is shining on our city and revealing the truth of KC Royals and their ability to succeed.

Enjoy the win and see the glass half full, instead of always seeing the negative and seeing the glass half empty.

  4. If you can't take time to enjoy this, I feel really sorry for you.

    Tony stays losing.

  5. I just don't understand why you can't enjoy this. Have fun with it...you might like it.

Any excuse to over-indulge in drinking and mindless, wild partying is good enough for us. Royals have no real shot at winning.

  12. As I said earlier, the Royals have to go all the way if nothing else to prove that God Damn fucking Glazer wrong. Make that loud mouth rat snitch eat crow dipped in cat shit. Hallelujah and may the piss from a dozen drunk Royals fans lands in his open mouth if he tries to speak out in lies again.

  14. You are such a negative person. I follow you blog because it is sometimes a good way to find news that isn't widely talked about in Kansas City.

I am not sure why people like you can't take positives with negatives. To you everything is negative, a scandal, or some other negative spin.

Please take a step back, look at what makes you so negative and work on fixing that. You may find you are a happier person if you can enjoy the things you are supposed to enjoy.

    Now get started being miserable.

  19. This is the first damn post where the haters appear to be overwhelmed. I like it.

The guy using it as an opportunity to race bait, go back behind your dark curtains and wait for a cum post to respond to.

You can't fault with a rainbow Paco. In that, you will age before your years.

    ReplyDelete
  20. @9:23...I wonder if that is the case in ten or twenty years. Look at all the stories about football. It's not about the sport anymore it's about domestic violence, it's about child abuse, it's about the government forcing a private company to change it's nickname.

But it's not about the sport.

Now stories coming out that fewer and fewer young people are watching the NFL. So football might be a sport on the decline pretty soon.

Were do all the blacks in the hood who are not 6'5 or higher go to play?

Do they all go to soccer? American blacks don't play that. Do they go back to Boxing? Or flock to MMA.

    Just some food for thought.

I check in on this site occasionally to hopefully reaffirm my belief that people are basically positive and hopeful. Up until this post, I was always disappointed.

My wife attends to cancer patients that have a more healthy attitude than you do.

But you go on catering to the bigots, the rape-cum pervs, the self-loathing bitch, and the other assorted socially challenged wing nuts and ask yourself in a year, "am I ANY happier"? Or, better yet, "have I done one thing to make some one else happier?"

    ReplyDelete
  22. !2:01 like they say everyone has an asshole and an opinion to go with it. Happy to see your wife does good work which is nice since it appears you're as big an asshole as the ones you claim to see hanging in here. By the way the door to leave is over that way------>

Without TKC there would be no place where you could anonymously bitch about TKC.

  25. George Bret got it right last night. What the Royals have accomplished so far is good, but the team is far from achieving greatness.

The plague is that the Royals are too damn inconsistent and can not afford to go up against world class teams playing like they are having hot flashes. A world series does not go to the luckiest team.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Kansas City, like every other big city in America, is IMMENSELY safer than it was in 1985, you fucking moron.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Yost Infection is pretty damned funny.

Yost is 2 games away from being manager of the year. Even with the wildcard he should be one of the front runners.

    ReplyDelete

    1. With a bullpen like the Royals, hell, Tony could do as well as Yost. Infection he is.

  35. Right 318. Professionals would look forward to the opportunity to show up and play for someone with Tony's attitude. Oh, and his communication skills, as well.

Tony does not have the attention span to be able to put his cell phone down for 30 minutes without convulsing.

  36. Remember that a TOP TKC INSIDER told us the team was gonna be pretty good at the outset of the season.

  37. Yost does have a fantastic bullpen, the best in the majors.
He also has a pop-gun offense that is dead last in home runs and doesn't take walks
    Tony LaRussa he ain't.
Tactically he plays more checkers to LaRussa's chess, but he's got to get some credit for the guys playing hard for him and the clubhouse atmosphere he helps create.
He's a good manager, not a great one.

    ReplyDelete
  38. none of your opinions can be even considered until we get to hear what the king has to say about this team.he is almost always dead on the money

  43. Royals Playoffs = 1 and done !

What the fuck is the big deal about.

Fucking loser Kansas City fans continue their record.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Well Royals win more than that stuck up Jennifer Jo Cobb does from KCK as Nascar Truck driver. That fridged bitch race in and race out never fails to finish way too many laps down to the rest of the field. But like Byron she as well isn't smart enough to know how stupid she looks all the time. Hell both such losers probably related.

    ReplyDelete
  45. 6:29... lol... Exactly how did this get polled on April 31?

    ReplyDelete
  46. Royals fans are so used to losing that they throw a World Series win party for a team that gets a try at a one game wild card playoff.

What a bunch of fucking losers.

So...they made the wild card playoff. Big fucking deal.

They've lost more games in 10 years than they lost in the previous 30 years.

Absentee Billionaire owner, POS GM and the worst manager in the AL. Let's celebrate!

Royals fans are so fucking desperate that they'd be happy with a .500 record.

How's that Royal blue kool-aid taste?

  47. Good things are happening in KC. It must be killing Tony to see them happen.
