There's word of new digs for the Kansas City Catholic hierarchy.
Also, this seems kind a like a legitimate attempt to scale down from the Church amid ongoing legal harsh times.

"Catholic Charities of Kansas City-St. Joseph has purchased the downtown Kansas City building at 850 Main St. for its headquarters and expects to move there in December.
"The three-story, 45,600-square-foot building was purchased for $3.1 million. Vacant since 2008, the building was part of the former Aquila Inc. headquarters complex and was formerly known as the Merchants Bank building."
