ReplyDeleteI don't know if black and Hispanic youths are treated more severely than whites but most burglaries and auto thefts result in no punishment for juveniles in Jackson County. So I don't know how you can call no punishment severe? So maybe juveniles convicted of violent crimes are treated more severe but if so let's treat whites worse, not minorities better.
ReplyDeleteTKC, if someone's great-great grandmother was 1/8 Cherokee, I wouldn't describe that person as an American Indian, just as I wouldn't describe someone from Bonner Springs as a Johnson Countian.
