Did she not notice she was being followed? If she didn't live there why did the 14 year come out? Why did she pull in? keep driving to downtown to the police station/ Call 911! Or was she not paying attention to her surroundings. Did it say they were waiting in her driveway or was she followed?

We live in the suburbs so we don't have to live on edge 24/7. Unfortunately we live next to one of the most corrupt, crime ridden cities in America so it spills over.
ReplyDeleteIf your car is stolen in Independence you might as well forget it unless the crooks dump your car on the street somewhere. Independence PD doesn't do jack shit with a vehicle theft case (disrupts their taser training) and if they find your car they will immediately have it towed to their good butt buddies on Truman Road where YOU will wind up with a $300.00 bill. Always nice to have two sets of crooks victimizing you. Your tax dollars at work.
ReplyDeleteThis was a car jacking, not a simple car theft. And since the vehicle ended up in the ghetto we know where the perps are from. Even if they are identified the KCPD will not go after them and if they are caught Jackson County will give them probation anyway.
ReplyDeleteConspicuous in its absence from the Fox4 story was a description of the perpetrators. I tried listening to the video but it was not working but I assume there was no descriptions of the scum who stole the woman’s car. Judging by all the referenced streets, it is a good probability that they were “TEENS”. I think this is a situation with political correctness interferes with public safety. How is anyone supposed to offer anything to the TIPS Hotline if they don’t know what the perpetrators looked like?
