Kansas election news that reports believe could have an impact on control of the Senate . . .
CELEBRATE SEN. CLAIRE McCASKILL ELECTION GAMBIT VICTORY!!! DEMOCRAT CHAD TAYLOR WINS RIGHT TO GET OFF THE BALLOT!!!
TKC Reader Alternative Headline: "Kansas court says f#ck you, Kobach"
Think of this as voting rights in reverse or Missouri's Senator using political maneuvers and urging Taylor to throw his bid to help win against Republicans . . .
LINKS:
KMBC: The Kansas Supreme Court has ruled that Democrat Chad Taylor's name does not have to stay on the ballot for the U.S. Senate race in the fall.
Fox4: The court’s decision Thursday leaves Democrats without a nominee, potentially making it easier for independent candidate Greg Orman to defeat three-term Republican incumbent Sen. Pat Roberts.
KSHB: KSHB has statements from both the Sen. Roberts and Greg Orman campaign
UPDATE . . . A TKC READERS NOTICES . . . Note that they don't list an author of the opinion, but instead say "Per

From a strategy standpoint it doesn't matter to Democrats who goes to the senate as long as it is not a Republican. Although, the Dems will not stop the Republicans from taking Congress.
ReplyDeleteCourt tells KKKobach to stick it up his ass. That guy is anti-democracy and anti-American. He should be prosecuted for sedition.
ReplyDeleteAs long as oil remains above $90 a barrel "civilization" can keep limping along.
ReplyDeleteKobach is such a douche. He thinks he needs to give his permission for somebody to drop out of the race. And for "good reason." The guy doesn't want to run, should be good enough for Kobach. The Republicans are terrified they're going to lose this race and governor. Do you know how bad of a job you have to be doing to possibly lose an election in Kansas to a Democrat? In this state it shouldn't even be close but this is what happens when you only try to satisfy the far-right lunatic fringe.
ReplyDeleteDear Ks. Sec'y of State KKKris KKKobach,
ReplyDeleteNice try Argument to predjudice the ballot won't fly.Give our best to Sen. Roberts and Gov. Brownshirtdouchbag.
Best regards,
Kansas State Supreme Court
Oh Orman the former financial advisor of convicted insider trader and former Goldman Sachs director Rajat Gupta.
ReplyDeleteOkey Dokey
The unwashed don't need to know that 6:27
ReplyDeleteAll he needs to run on is more barbecue, beer, and sports and it's a wrap.
ReplyDeleteI heard he had some health issues that he doesn't want to share.
ReplyDeleteNo problem here, we need more gamesmanship in election process.
ReplyDeleteThe Republican smear machine will get Orman.
ReplyDeleteFrom the above comments it looks like they're off and running, 7:20. As if Pat Roberts doesn't have a few skeletons in his large Virginia closet.
ReplyDeleteAnyone see the douchey Brownback "I'm a farmer's boy" ad? His head has now been confirmed as twice as big as his pelvis, and that ain't including his $200 coiffed, non-agrarian hair. John Edwards would be proud.
ReplyDeleteIndependent hasn't won in Kansas in more than 30 years. Good job democrats, you are officially out of ideas.
ReplyDeleteAnd Republicans are presenting any new ideas, either.
ReplyDeleteNot
ReplyDeleteGlad to see Roberts out.
ReplyDeleteDid the court issue any orders regarding unsolicited bulk e-mail?
ReplyDeleteI think the Dems and the Reps have both been very cynical in this situation.
ReplyDeleteI think that the voters in Kansas will re-elect Roberts when everybody calms down and considers the outcome if he is not re-elected.
Roberts would have a tremendous amount of power in the Senate if the Reps. control it because of his experience. He does not have tremendous influence on Fox or MSNBC or CNN though. He just does not have a face for TV.
Orman would be the opposite. He has no political experience, a sketchy background, and has demon strated his lack of conviction on issues important to Kansas. He would be very influential and apppear on the news channels often, but he would have absolutely no influence in the Senate. He would be kind of like Michelle Bachman, who was a well known Congresswoman, ran for President, and had absolutely no influence or power in the House.
Democrats are QUITTERS and BULLSHITTERS!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteChad Taylor, you can't quit me now, or you'll broke ur back!!!
The headline that the MSM will never write:
ReplyDeleteDemocrats suppress voters' primary choice!
and you clueless knuckleheads don't see ClairObama hand in getting the Democrate out to help her friend Roberts.
ReplyDeleteBut Orman is a whining jackoff so only ClairObamaBell wins.
Wait till you see Kris Koster drop out of the gov race and run again for AG to let ClairObamabell win an they the Velociraptor bitch will appoint Koster to her Senate seat.
You heard it here first. White Tony is up Lonzo the loozers sass.
