ReplyDeleteSo why pass an ordinance when there is not a problem in Roeland Park? Is this just another gay attention getting issue?
ReplyDeleteMaybe I'm overanalyzing, but I think Roeland Park is a little antsy about its future. First you have beaners and bootlips invading the place like it's the last boat out of Pompeii. Then there's the (seemingly stalled)risk of losing the sales tax base when Wal-marto del Ghetto closes. Maybe they think by passing the queer ordinance that it will lure the gays to the area. Regardless of what your stance is on gays, there's little denying that they usually spruce up the neighborhood.
