Kansas City doggie lovers are putting this message on blast in an attempt to stop local animal cruelty . . . Check it:
Humane Society Kansas City Alert
We want to pass along these photos of some dogs that were stolen from the Humane Society of Southeast Missouri in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Friday evening, August 1st they had two Pit Bull mixes, male and female, stolen from the shelter. They received a lead that told them the dogs were seen in Kansas City traveling in a red van with Florida plates. There is a very real chance they were stolen to be used as bait dogs in a dog fighting ring. We want to see them found safe and back with people who have their best interests.
The female, blue pit mix was just spayed last week and should have a fresh incision. Both are very sweet dogs and they would like to get them back safely. If you have any information please contact their shelter at 573-334-5837. Please share this post!
