MUST SEE!!! KANSAS CITY ANTI-CRIME ACTIVIST ALONZO WASHINGTON AND KCPD CHIEF FORTÉ AGREE ON COMMUNITY SUPPORT AND POLICE ACCOUNTABILITY!!!

Speaking of Sunday compromise, here's an important social media exchange betwixt anti-crime activist Alonzo Washington and Kansas City's top.

Take a look . . .

Alonzo Washington was posting questions about this morning's deadly police shooting and came to the rather reasonable conclusion that police should have both community support and accountability.

SURPRISINGLY THE KCPD CHIEF REPLIED AND AGREED WITH MR. WASHINGTON'S ONLINE REMARKS!!!

Take a look:

UPDATE . . . FOLLOW-UP TWEETS FROM THE CHIEF . . .

The Chief talks about more info that was released today . . .

The Chief notes a common goal . . .

Some might not see the significance of this exchange but it's important in noting that KCPD community outreach includes social media and answering online discourse. This Sunday exchange is probably the most encouraging online example we've seen of the Internets providing a constructive forum talking about police shootings . . . At the very least, it's far more constructive than burning down a QT.

Wow, I am tremendously smarter for having read that riveting interaction.

  10. KC police ID man killed in altercation and say he shot at officers,

Kansas City police opened an investigation Sunday into what detectives described as an officer-involved shooting in the city’s Northeast area.

Killed in the altercation was Eugene N. Turner III, 28, whom police said fired several rounds at officers before being shot.

The FACT is that Article II of the CWC specifically exempts law enforcement use of teargas for the explicit purposes of domestic riot control.

  19. Don't forget to check the KC's most wanted on occasion. Quite the backlog of fugitives considered armed and dangerous. Perhaps the police should offer them flowers and candy when responding to a call.

Well, I certainly didn't see Alonzo Washington in Ferguson. Where his presence would have mattered. I guess some activists would rather stay at home and tweet tweet rather than walk the walk.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Sounds to me like a minor handjob between Albozo and The Farte. Nothing worth coverage.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Alonzo is an excellent Tweeter. His tweets have saves KC from itself. Criminals listen to his tweets and refrain from violent crime as they take heed from his twitterverse

    ReplyDelete
  36. 11:00 is correct. I don't speed or ever forget to turn out the lights because of Alonzo'S powerful tweets. His crime fighting techniques are universally recognized. Al Quida is scared to death of Alonzo and his use of the English language...his tweets have all but stopped many a terrorist and his role in reducing international crime is a proven fact- it's just not documented. Russian top guy Putin practically shakes in fear- I have heard- that Alinzo might tweet about him and stop Russia. Rocky Balboa also is reportedly scared of his tweets also. I just wish I could understand his English better... But boy is he powerful- should maybe run for president or at least run for a world leader position and get a larger twitter audience...

    1. He should run for something... I suggest a school where he could take lessons in English and public speaking..

  37. Accountability means once there is an officer involved shooting the Police Union takes over and seizes evidence like we saw in Ferguson.
