If the toy train passes you can bet the dumb asses of KC will be re electing the same slugs to the city commission. On that case we need highway funds to build another loop to Johnson County that dies not touch the KC city limits.
Don't worry. Everyone who votes for a Toy Train is going to prosper beyond belief! Your bosses are going to walk up to your desk, cubicle, or wherever one day soon and say.. "Hey guess what? All because of the trolley, I've decided to quadruple your salary. Plus as a bonus we'll pay your property taxes for as long as your with the company. In addition you'll get discounts on food, utilities, gas, and all your other day to day essentials!"
I bet many people in video one are living in them $250,000 condo's downtown and are paying $300 to $500 a year in property taxes on them. The D05 deal.
Watching Freedom Inc. and easy siders being lead by a bunch rich anti-tax white guys from St. Louis and a white lady from Brookside that has encroached on KCATA property and doesn't want "them" riding a streetcar to her neighborhood is truly all you need to know.
That's right. Every home owner along the entire Trolley Trail is illegally trespassing on KCATA property!!!!
All those citizens should be removed, their houses taken with eminent domain, bulldozed, and replaced with the worlds first 2.3 mile long market rate apartment complex! Then install the train, on all that useless unused space!!!
Endless growth economics! Nonstop consuming! They train is another fun and new toy! Drink another Red Bull, and get back out there consuming! We'll find the money somewhere, some other time!!
(the mentality of every vapid Boomer who will sadly vote yes tomorrow)
Them how can everyone who disagrees with Steve and Pat and the anti-everything league be Russ Johnson?
Something doesn't compute, like when you think you're going to win with only 43% of the voters who agree with you after 2 months of lies, fear tactics and playoffs?

ReplyDeleteVideo 1 - a bunch of white ninnies and tattooed hipsters
ReplyDeleteVideo 2 - ineffective and amateurish
Still voting NO on everything

ReplyDeleteVideo 2 Wins.
ReplyDeleteAt least they are honest.
If some of the people in video 1 are who would ride the streetcar, I'll stay off it. I'm allergic to hipsters.
ReplyDeleteVideo 1 - Where did all these people park their new 2014 suv's, soccer mom vans, and toyota pirus's for this?
ReplyDeleteObey, Consume, No Thought, Stay Asleep - (This message endorsed by Kansas City Streetcar Neighbors)
ReplyDeleteMoving to Kansas if these taxes pass.
ReplyDeleteBetter Schools, roads,no earnings tax and better police protection.
This is sophomoric. I think that the people in the videos must have paid for them so they could see themselves on TV

Give us a break, Mensa boy. Do you really think the "white lady" is not aware that there are many buses serving Brookside? Go back to Nebraska.
ReplyDeleteYou must really think passing that test and getting your little yellow pin makes everyone else stupid.

There are a number of property owners encroaching on KCATA property. That is a fact. 1:17 is perfect example of that self entitlement attitude.
ReplyDeleteWasn't going to vote, cause what the fuck ever right? But after seeing the search and destroy lamesauce I'm going tomorrow to vote for it.
ReplyDeleteRegistered Westport white dude.
Talked my folks into voting for it too. They live in south plaza.
ReplyDeleteBoth videos are moronic. The first one you can tell more than a few people are reading cue cards.
ReplyDeleteVOTE NO ON TUESDAY.
"Everyone who disagrees with me is Russ Johnson!"
ReplyDeleteErgo "Russ Johnson is 60% of the population of the urban core"
Sincerely,
2 guys from out of state.
Such is the way of the Internet.
ReplyDeleteI like the second video. It sends out a clear message.
ReplyDeleteStop jacking us around, fix the schools, hire more police, pave the roads and streets, repair the infrastructure.
1:21: I don't think the Boomers are the ones pushing this farce (except the mayor, who may be a Boomer but is a hipster wannabe at heart).
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry your parents were mean to you, but remember abortion wasn't legal back then.
Russ Johnson doesn't live in the urban core, 5:14.
ReplyDeleteThem how can everyone who disagrees with Steve and Pat and the anti-everything league be Russ Johnson?

Rass Johnson lives up North, and doesn't want a trolley on his beloved Line Creek Trail.
ReplyDeleteFirst video reminds me of a ship with 100 passengers and crew drifting down a river that eventually cascades over a 1,000 foot waterfall.
ReplyDeleteI have never seen either of these video except here. Don't care.. Vote NO on EVERYTHING!
