TKC has this great movie idea that involves a mayor's wife who totally takes over control of his office and ruins an administration that promised reform. She doesn't wear shoes and she's kinda racist. It's captivating story but there's no love interest or likeable characters.

KCWIFT has partnered with KC FilmFest, presented by the Kansas City Filmmakers Jubilee, to host an annual short screenwriting competition for female and male screenwriters, committed to writing strong female characters to be portrayed in film.
