Kansas City Screenplay Contest Challenges Writers To Create Strong Female Characters

A lucky local writer among our Kansas City "creative class" will soon be 1,000 bucks richer according to this note from our City Hall subsidized local movie commission.

To wit . . .

CHECK THIS KANSAS CITY CALL FOR ENTRIES FOR LOCAL WRITERS WHO CAN SATISFY THE NEED FOR STRONG LADIES IN MOVIES!!!

TKC has this great movie idea that involves a mayor's wife who totally takes over control of his office and ruins an administration that promised reform. She doesn't wear shoes and she's kinda racist. It's captivating story but there's no love interest or likeable characters.

Now, take a look at the contest note:

4th Annual KCWIFT Screenplay Contest- Open for Entries Sept 1st
