Now, there's a lot of stupid assumptions that people can make from this story but more than anything else our TKC Blog Community understands that the OVERALL KANSAS CITY TEACHING MOMENT here is:
RIGHT OR WRONG: TRYING TO DO THE RIGHT THING TYPICALLY INVOLVES TAKING A BEATING!!!
The safer and more personally rewarding course of action might have been to simply take a selfie, record the incident on video and holler "World Star, baby!" upload it online and then enjoy some Chipotle rather than suffering a beat down at the establishment over a baby that (allegedly) nobody cared about in the first place.

OK, here are the facts.
ReplyDeleteThe woman left the child in an unlocked car in a commercial business area.
The good samaritan strangers were able to remove the child from the car, and the mother didn't see them do it and didn't know about it for a period of time.
If a person had abducted the child, the mother also would not have known about that.
Therefore, regardless of weather conditions, the mother was extremely negligent. She should be thanking the strangers that they prevented her child from being abducted.
