GLOBAL CLIMATE CHANGE BLOWING UP KANSAS CITY OLD AND BUSTED STREETS!!!

Transit authorities are offering yet another warning about the perils of driving on Kansas City streets.

To wit . . .

EXTREME HEAT AND OVERALL LACK OF MAINTENANCE KILL KANSAS CITY TIRES!!!

Here's the word . . .

MoDOT is warning drivers about the possibility of pavement blow-up

Deets:

"Engineers call it a pavement blow-up. It happens when pavement expands because of high temperatures and humidity. Most times, engineers say these are happening on roads with a lot of traffic like I-70 and I-35.

"You'll see pieces and chunks of concrete and their jagged edges. So a lot of times what you'll see, is a vehicle drag if they're really, really severe or they might blow out a tire," said MoDOT engineer Mike Schupp."

Now, this isn't just a highway problem but a longstanding issue as KCMO streets, avenues and boulevards have become filled with potholes and steel plates amid the deferred maintenance tenure of Mayor Sly James.

  2. Lets take the casino money back from the bastard kids schools and pump it into something we all use - like streets and highways. If parents can't raise their kids without everyone else pitching in then too fucking bad.

  3. True: pavement buckles due to hot weathe through a process called deformation.

False: it's due to a lack of maintenance.

True: TKC uses falsehoods to twist his agenda, considering there was a transportation tax he could have supported to further the better maintenance of roads in Missouri, which would buckle when it gets hot anyway.

See folks? Just read between the lines. It's easy.

  4. A handy piece of information that MoDOT could have shared with voters during the Amendment 7 issue.

  5. You're a rube if you do not recognize propaganda when you hear it. Just like oh, if you do not give us what we want all sorts of bad things will happen. Bullshit.
