Previously, our blog community reported a petition to stop Mayor Sly's KCFD outsourcing attempt . . .
And now . . .
WORD IS THAT PETITIONERS HAVE THE SIGNATURES AGAINST A RECENT MAYOR SLY KCFD OUTSOURCING MOVE!!!
Here's the word . . .
"It looks like the petitioners will have plenty of signatures to force the council to repeal or put on the ballot the ordinance that outsources the city’s ambulance billing to Intermedix, a Fort Lauderdale Florida company that’s been involved in a massive patient identity theft linked to a scheme to file fraudulent federal income tax refund claims. About 32,000 patients of 27 agencies that were clients of this company in 17 states had their identities stolen."
