ReplyDeleteWe usually agree with Mr. Washington's position, however, here we believe his is dead wrong. Oh, there's a possibility that the police killed Cayden; a strong possibility. KCTV5 was just doing their job. Really, this case is a media thunderstorm. Even mediatakeout.com is reporting on it. GMA made mention of it this morning and everyone is feverishly trying to cover the story for added exposure... and possibly a better job. That being said, any case with kids involved, they always immediately show the perp's pic. They other cases Alonzo cites do not include the death of children. This is not the battleground for this beef. I have to disagree.

If this is true, and I don't know that he's spoken to the matter, then any message he may have in his crusade to eliminate racism is clouded by his own antisocial personal behavior. If he can't manage his personal life, it seems to me he has no right to lecture others about how they should think about ANY topic. Perhaps this dedicated community activist should run for office, where his background could be examined by opponents and the press, and the voters could decide on his personal credibility and accountability or lack of it. At any rate, until he addresses the issues of his personal life publicly, in detail, I have to assume that he lives in a fragile glass house himself.

I cannot guarantee anything, but would be willing to bet that the KC Star took down its "Crime Scene KC" series from pressure from the likes of Mr. Washington because the majority of victims and murderers were African-American males between the age of 15 and 30.
Look. This is a case that has NOTHING to do with Alonzo. He doesn't live there. He doesn't know the people involved. He doesn't even know where Atchinson is. I am sure he won't visit Leavenworth because he probably has some enemies or outstanding warrants over there. I'd love to see him run his mouth in front of the Leavenworth courthouse so he can see how they handle his kind of element in the more rural areas of kansas. The black folks in rural kansas don't get what all his squawking is about. Also, most of these rural kansas black people have jobs, unlike alonzo, take care of their families, unlike alonzo, and hang out with all types and colors of people, unlike alonzo. Generally around those parts, everybody knows everybody and nobody makes a race thing because there is no need for it. He is making a big deal out of something he knows nothing about.

Now here's the thing. Very few people in Leavenworth know these people. EVERYBODY in Atch knows these people. Most people in law know these people. I wish the news media would stop trying to make it a Leavenworth thing. The killa just crashed his car in that town. This is not really a Leavenworth case. However, he did decide to play shoot out with the cops and thats not a good idea.
So what does alonzo have to do with this? Nothing. Nothing at all.
