Sporting Kansas City Selfie Celebration

In the aftermath of the American World Cup Soccer malaise . . . The Kansas City, Kansas soccer team is trying to keep it interesting.

Huff Post: "Sporting Kansas City forward Dom Dwyer tried to get a little creative with his goal celebration on Sunday, but it ended up costing him. After scoring against the Chicago Fire, Dwyer grabbed a phone from one of the photographers on the sideline and took a selfie with some fans"

He earned a yellow card (whatever that is) . . . But garnered more attention than any other soccer player from KC this week.

Are Sporting fanboys mad to discover again that the league is really just a minor league soccer farm system for the rest of the world?

Or do the confetti canons make you forget all that?
