It took awhile but here's the legislative reaction to blabbermouthkc.com that tried this scam and was pretty much silenced by media and public pushback: Missouri measure targets arrest mugshot websites - "Gov. Jay Nixon has signed legislation making it a misdemeanor to publish police booking photos on websites and then seek money to take them photos down. The new crime will be punishable by up to a year in jail and a $1,000 fine."

Here is a state that gives gun owner information to the feds, sells your personal and business information to the credit card issuers, places yourpersonal and property tax information, including your address online for all to see, and then puts Missouri Case.net online to show every court action you ever filed, your tickets, your arrests, your civil actions and all of your business, allow credit bureaus easy access to your personal information, gives info. to insurance companies, publishes public sex offender info with photos. ...and these hypocritical bastards are pissed about mug shots ? I wonder what palm didn't get greased here.
