SHOCK!!! MAYOR SLY AND COUNCIL APPROVE ILLEGAL CRACKDOWN ON KANSAS CITY OPEN CARRY AND OUR LOCAL 2ND AMENDMENT RIGHTS!!!

With a shameful and despicable ignorance of good law in Missouri and the 2nd Amendment of the Constitution, Mayor Sly and City Council voted to ban the open carry of legal guns in Kansas City.

Remember that TKC was the first to break this story and raise the interest of gun rights activists on this one.

Then we offered more detail on the arguments against this tragic legislation and the upcoming move to block the effort . . . Which is just going to cost the city more cash to defend.

Today, just like we told you . . . The effort was approved by the Mayor and Council . . .

Kansas City council bans open carry of firearms

Deets:

"Mayor Sly James said open carry may be okay for rural areas, but not for Kansas City.

"In this city where violence is a problem, where woman are battered and beaten where people get drunk and in hassles at bars, I don't think that we ought to hand them a gun to take it to the next level and say that's okay," he said."

For the record, the example Mayor Sly provides doesn't have any real world relevance and is completely incorrect.

Again, this is Mayor Sly and the City Council showing absolutely no respect for the rights of the citizenry OR the Constitution.

This act is nothing less than criminal and will be struck down by Missouri activists. What's worse is that the Mayor knows this legislation is contrary to the law but doesn't seem to care.

  5. The fucked up thing is that he's talking abou the hood but they don't do open carry out there. This ban is directed at a small group of people who have never presented a public safety threat. Such a shame. Sly doesn't know the law.

  6. The Mayor violated the second amendment.

  9. It's a completely empty gesture and just more grandstanding by the grandstander-in-chief.
Sly's entire term has been one grandiose announcement after another and all he's done so far is to spend millions of dollars betting on the streetcar and that millions more will appear from thin air.
What's coming to town next, the Music Man?

  23. Sly must have a poll showing that he gets 100% of the votes in his re-election campaign. The streetcar, the medical tax, the airport and now this. Does anyone care what the bowtied baboon does?

  24. How much does a highway billboard cost?

This needs to be put up in bold large letters:

"For the record, the example Mayor Sly provides doesn't have any real world relevance and is completely incorrect.

  25. Several years ago I found my self standing on a corner as a gang car sped by with bangers and guns hanging out the windows follow by the cops. How's Sly going to enforce that open carry?(It was like a movie, only it wasn't)

  26. He'll say we just need to give these kids something to do.

  27. Hey Sly,

Try this one on for size:

Federal judge rules DC ban on gun carry rights unconstitutional

    You're a lawyer?

Looks like you don't even know the law.

Shame on your Mayor. We need better representation than this.

  34. STILL gonna carry bmy heat concealed, CCW or not. fuck the mayor and any nigger who makes me pull it out and use it on their stupid ded ass!

    ReplyDelete
  35. I support the mayor on this issue. The 2nd amendment is about a "well regulated militia"--like the National Guard. It's not about a bunch of yahoos carrying guns.

    ReplyDelete
  36. The Negro and his pursuant of relevance and greatness. Daryl Forte is not only the first Black Police Chief but is also the typical "pay me and I will say just about anything" Willie Lynch Negro.

The reports on his involvement is coming. Celebrate him all you want. The scandal is developing.

  37. Hey there 5:55 AM, you are special kind of stupid aren't you ???

    ReplyDelete
  38. Where is the text of this ordinance?

    ReplyDelete
  39. "I don't think it's fair to have police officers to guess about the attention of somebody who has a weapon," the mayor said.".... I just don't see the purpose of it."

Believe it or not, fucktard, the country is not about some fucking mayor or about inconveniencing an entire population over some god damn police force. It is about the citizens, the tax payers, you know, the people you claim to represent and who pay your salary you fucking charlatan.
