RACIALLY MOTIVATED KANSAS CITY WESTPORT ID CHECKPOINTS DON'T REALLY CUT DOWN ON UNRULY 'RATCHET' CROWDS!!!
As usual, this blog was the FIRST to note the crackdown on hip-hop and "urban core" crowds in Westport and this morning there are reports of "mixed" results of recent ID checkpoints.
Some celebrate the checkpoints as a divisive but valuable tool . . .
"ID checkpoint at every Westport entrance is exactly what Westport needed. Well done bar owners, well done."
But digging deeper . . .
LAST NIGHT THERE WERE STILL REPORTS OF FIGHTING AND THUGGERY IN WESTPORT!!!

TKC EXCLUSIVE . . . SOCIAL MEDIA ALSO INDICATES THAT YOUNGER CROWDS ARE ALSO MOVING BACK TO LOITER IN FRONT OF THE P&L DISTRICT TOO!!!
Now, bar district fighting isn't too surprising but what's notable is that there's very little talk of an ID checkpoint crackdown that pushes the limits of a civil liberties crackdown on public streets AND the fighting and loitering CONTINUES as media tones down coverage.

ReplyDeleteI was in Westport last night but left at 11:00. It was great. Lots of people everywhere. Beautiful women too. Most of the bars were full at 9:00. The barriers checking everyone is needed and should be there every weekend. I don't know if it got bad late but I had a great time while I was there. The scenery at Harry's was particularly good.

There were 6 or 7 million black people murdering every white person, skinning them alive and wearing their beautiful white skin like robes. White girls were being forcibly raped by men with 7 or 8 foot long penises and incredible libidos.

I'm staying in Leawood with my kick ass deck and my browskis and brewskis. Much safer than the horror I seriously saw no joke on Friday night.
