MUST SEE!!! KANSAS CITY PUBLIC SCHOOLS INTERNETS PUSHBACK TAKES ON KCTV5!!!

Take a good look at the future of online discourse vs. newsie reporting.

To wit . . .

THE MOST KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTERS TELL US TO TAKE A LOOK AT THE KCPS ONLINE REBUTTAL OF A SCATHING KCTV5 EXPENSE REPORT!!!

We talked about Superintendent Green's salary and his expenses when we first linked to the update on his fine dining appreciation . . .

Now here's the KCPS retort:

Youtube message from the KCPS . . .

The truth about KCPS superintendent lavish high-end dining allegations.

"KCTV5 released a story claiming Dr. Stephen Green is wasting taxpayer’s money. To support these allegations Channel 5 left out some important information we feel the public should know."

Now, the hope here is that social media and online supporters will watch and have something to hold high against damaging news about Dr. Green's love of a good meal.

However . . . To show that things haven't changed that much, so far the KCPS has only earned about 36 views vs. the much larger KCTV5 audience.

Either way, our AWESOME BLOGGY COMMUNITY is the only place where people will be allowed to comment on the INTERNETS DEBATE without censorship . . .

So you decide . . . Who do you believe???

  1. I believe Katie Horner.

  2. After paying my property taxes (2/3 of which went to the school district) I was able to afford a lavish lunch at the Chinese Buffet.

  3. I want to know how much alcohol was spent at these luncheons, and whether Green is planning to reimburse the taxpayers for any of it. Answer that one, Green.

  4. just like the city gov. the school board is corrupt also

  5. The school board is populated by idiots.

  6. The negro is always going to live beyond its means. It's just part of who they are, whether on welfare or grossly overpaid like Green. It's the same reason they'll buy a 10 year old Mercedes that leaks oil rather than a new Honda. They all like to appear like high tones.

  7. That's peanots, but the taxes I pay to that failed school system is not.

  8. Isn't it great that we all get fucked paying property taxes of 5k per year plus but we spend twice that much to send our children anywhere else but KCMSD?

  9. When you're in a hole, stop digging.
It's always amazing, and discouraging, when these kinds of folks get caught doing something irrepsonsible, incompetent, or just plain dumb, and instead of changing what they do, come up with endless excuses and explanations as to why it's all OK.
Cost overruns and insider deals in the Hickman Mills School District? What's the problem?
$34 million insdier-bid contract approved by the KCPS board without any discussion or recorded vote? Crispin Rea still hasn't told us "the facts" as he promised Ryan Kath he would.
Past behavior is a great predictor of future performance.
So there should be no surprises going forward.
    Just more excuses.

  10. If you are a Kansas City parent with a decent income, it is a criminal act for you to let your child attend a public school. Your children should be taken away from you, because you are demonstrating that your are unfit to be a parent.

    Yes, it is that bad.

  11. There are more and more calls of accountability from Green and his staff. But they don't like to respond to any of them.

  12. we have alot of homeless on the streets of kc that money could have went to union mission to help feed the homeless instead of green and company eating that 200 dollar meal and enjoying it with there cocktails i do wish that someone would make the school district accountable for there spending. or lower the school taxes

  13. What a load of horseshit. 12 people on a $240 tab is not fine dining folks. Either way he has expense account for these kind of meals.

All you put people are trying to do is fuck things up(even more than they are). We don't need a new superintendent.

Let me repeat that for the fuckhead in the back bitching about the "possibility" that somebody may have allegedly drank a beer; we don't need a new superintendent. The district has a number of more serious problems. Right now we don't need a new superintendent.

We do need the kids to come to class. Our attendance sucks. The test scores of the kids who have attendance rates of 95% when compared to the other kids demonstrates a really easy way we can make some gains. Simply put: send your kids to school everyday.

Again for the guy with his head stuck up his ass: We don't need a new superintendent. We need kids to come to school.
