  2. What an overrated act this is. She's not even a pimple on the elephant's ass of real politics in this town. If it wasn't for Tony, she wouldn't even be mentioned.

  9. Obviously, you shitbirds don't know how elections are devised or won. If you know anything you'd know that DK is probably one of the most influential people in KC.

Now go back to watching Faux news and pretend that you're informed.

  10. Being influential is not the same as being an asset. Based on those elected in KC being influential is also helping to destroy the city.

  11. So if whe's so influential, is she taking the blame for what's going on?
Or just being famous for being well-known.
    Another D-list KCMO "celebrity".

  12. 10:18, elections 'devised'? Aren't elections supposed to be 'held?'

Mindsets like this as further exemplified by the election engineering (get it) for the Toy Train are why people are so turned off to local politics in KC and continue to move to the suburbs.

I can't remember the specific date or magazine, but in the mid to late 1990's there was a lengthy article on the most corrupt cities in the USA and guess what, Kansas City made the cut. Granted, this was during the Carol Coe heyday, but if you scratch the surface I don't think much has changed.

Don't even get me started on the 1% earnings tax...

  13. Well the real news is Tony has found another looser he'd like to shag!

  14. Hey 7/25/14

That was George magazine...I remember it well cause it hit the nail on the head. KC politicos aren't about actually doing anything for the common good, it is just the appearance of doing something.

    Kander pander goes unseen
Poor old Tony pulls his schween
    Books are signed, money's banked

  20. Totally amazing. Every time this woman is mentioned, the TKC Peanut Gallery goes into full foaming-at-the-mouth rabid lunatic mode. What's the freakin' problem? So she wrote a book. If it's as bad as all of you say (any of you ever read the thing? Me neither), it will disappear within a month. That's how it works. Nothing to be having conniption fits over, kids. If it actually sells, you got your hometown-girl-makes-good scenario, and good for her. Not sure why it matters to you guys either way. There's a lot of good stuff on TV, you know. Maybe you guys should be spending more time watching it. Or something.
