I'll be glad to charge a lot of money for my expertise.
ReplyDeleteDon't waste your time developing any expertise, 5:53am.
ReplyDeleteIn KCMO what's important is WHO you know and promise to do something for and how much time you can spend schmoozing on the 22nd and 29th floors of city hall.
That's why these grandiose "projects" mostly turn out to be huge fiascos.
And the streetcar will too.
But Cindy will win and go on to run a very famous brothel.
ReplyDeleteI see the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences has a few dollars left to donate after the Karen Pletz looting.
ReplyDeleteIT's just a shame that Pletz couldn't hold on long enough to see this dream realized.
ReplyDeleteThat the q-tipped armed faggot from Nebraska's blog
ReplyDelete"Downtown voters have a very good reason to approve"
ReplyDelete...so they can continue paying $500 a year in property taxes on swanky $250,000 lofts and condo's.
You all know that web site is run by Dave Johnson, right? So of course it is pro streetcar.
ReplyDeleteShilling for expensive projects paid for by the taxpayers is an art form in KCMO. Especially if you, your friends, supporters, and in this case, advertisers, get to share in the loot.
ReplyDeleteMaybe this is what Sly really means when he talks about KCMO being an arts center.
The best little whorehouse in Missouri!
The "Tax Discrimination District" singles out Kansas City's poorest neighborhoods for the largest tax increase in our city's history. It excludes the more affluent neighborhoods north and south. Jim Crow MUST GO!! Vote NO on Question A.
ReplyDeleteTry again Sherry. Nobody's buying that line, either.
DeleteWhy was the KCATA able to initiate the Main Street and Troost MAX routes without voter approval, but the Prospect MAX needs to be voted on?
ReplyDeleteSounds racist to me.
Lets get a higher than 10% turn out at the polls. PEOPLE- if you aren't going to use or live by, if you will have just plain nothing to do with the toy train including knowing about it- vote NO. Don't let Sly and the CKstones just do what ever they want. It is OK to stop in your tracks, say NO, and change direction. Hell trying to work at city hall that's all you do is stop and go another direction, can't plan a function, get nothing done. Let's get the toy train and expanses- nothing done. Really
ReplyDelete3:38: Do you have an answer to the musical question: Why must we vote for a new bus line?
ReplyDeleteIf not, then STFU.
Just because one soon-to-be otherwise unemployable termed out council person who's not even from here needs a job is not a reason to bankrupt this city.
ReplyDeleteVote no.
IF THE TDD PASSES IT IS THE BEGINING OF MORE TAXES, FEWER SERVICES. WE CANNOT EVEN TAKE CARE OF WHAT WE HAVE. VOTE NO ON THE TDD.
ReplyDeleteKCI $1,500,000,000
ReplyDeleteSewers $3,500,000,000
streetcar $1,200,000,000
Total $6,200,000,000
KC population 450,000
Average household income $41,000.00
Good luck CK
