Here's a look at the state of Dead Tree Media and our hope that not all lady writers are so enthusiastic about killing babies and calling out people of faith . . .
Check it:
First up . . .
Dirty Mary Sanchez offers the same of Catholic rebuke that we've heard before with very little new information: Church needed $1.1 million penalty as reminder of its obligations to children
Something, anything new would have been nice but instead Dirty Mary is simply re-blogging what everybody else read last night . . .
And then . . .
ONCE AGAIN HOOPZ SHOWS A STUNNING BIT OF IGNORANCE ABOUT POLITICS, JOURNALISM AND HER AUDIENCE IN HER PRO-ABORTION HOBBY LOBBY RANT TODAY!!!
JeneĆ© Osterheldt: Hobby Lobby’s crafty discrimination against women
And here's the question . . .
WHO ARE THESE LADIES WRITING FOR??? AND IS THIS "GIRL POWER" ANTI-FAITH, PRO-ABORTION HATERATION PART OF THE REASON FOR THE DECLINE OF THE KANSAS CITY STAR?!?!
Not really. Dead Tree Media is going down because of Facebook, TV news, Twitter and because the Internets is more interesting.
However . . . It's interesting to watch Dead Tree deminse on such a bitter and spiteful note extolling the virtues and opinions of the absolutely nobody in Kansas City.
Developing . . .
There aren't many people left to cancel their subscription. That is the real news TKC.
ReplyDeleteSocial media is far worse then TV used to be. Makes the old soap operas look sophisticated by comparison.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the typical CK Ratchet P&L ho cares about Hobby Lobby thing?
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteWhat the insignificant Osterheldt is doing writing about a serious topic I don't know. Did she run out of cookie recipes or something? Or wait, maybe she's the new City Editor. Or maybe she's pregnant.
Why the hell should any employer be required to buy employee's birth control products? Totally ludicrous.
ReplyDeleteThe chemicals in birth control pills should be free and dump in the water supply.
ReplyDeleteI'd fuck Mary Sanchez in her ass. Then cum all over her face and tits. Then I'd give her a Dirty Sanchez for good measure.
ReplyDeleteMy benefits are part of the package I agree to accept in return for my work, so It is my money, not the employer's. I never agreed that my employer could make medical decisions for me. Of course, you probably think women who have sex "recreationally" are all whores, not healthy normal sexual beings.
ReplyDelete7:51 and the whores at the KC Commie Star can go fuck themselves to death.
ReplyDeletePlease.
Sanchez, Osterheldt, and Diuguid are perfect examples of what you get when you try to run a business like you're loading Noah's Ark by picking the different animals one by one.
ReplyDeleteYou should be able to find excellent journalists of any race and background, but when the quality doesn't matter as much as the other factors, you end up like the Star.
It might be a decent newspaper in a little town in western Kansas, but its current state just emphasizes what a small town KC really is.
Amateur night on the plains.
They had some good writers, and then they canned our asses. Now I'm hosting movie nights at the fucking library.
ReplyDeleteAt least we get to hear what Hoopz thinks about the latest Pharrell songs.
This has to be the low point for the Star.
ReplyDeleteIf the Star ever hopes to dig itself out of hole it dug- they need to begin by getting rid of these trashy writers.
How many local jackasses you screwing a month 7:51? That will help us decide if your "normal".
ReplyDeleteSomeone needs to tell Jenee that abortion is not a form of birth control.
ReplyDeleteGod is the biggest abortionist going...although my pastor tells me it's cuz those pregnant women aren't praying and tithing correctly.
ReplyDeleteHobby Lobby is only refusing to provide coverage for a few specific types of birth control, the morning after pill and iud. Leftist politicos and feminists are lying about women being denied birth control. 751 your employer offers an insurance package, if you don't like what it includes, get a new one or get on the Obamacare train that your party shoved down everyones collective throat. Nobody is telling you what to do with your body, and you aren't entitled to demand your employer give you something they are morally against.
ReplyDeleteI am mortally against paying minimum wage, and I have a lot of friends. Bitches.
ReplyDeleteJeneƩ Osterheldt you are one ugly woman and why would you need birth control I can't foresee anyone every wanting to fuck you not even the cum guy
ReplyDeleteoh the cum guy would fuck her, but he practices birf control by splooging in his victims face or breasticles.
ReplyDeleteGO TKC!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE IT when you get serious and tell the truth about KC Star wannabe journalists!
This is one of the extremely few places where someone covering KC news dares to speak these truths without being PC-filtered first.
7:51 around here we call them Toni Bones and friends but where you are from they "would" be called whores. Just a regional thing.
ReplyDeleteI seriously hope that was the real Bob Butler who wrote that comment. If so, fucking awesome.
ReplyDeleteIt may be a difficult position to defend at times but these women have a right to their opinion, while I do not agree with, I respect their courage and honesty.
ReplyDeleteProviding free birth control is not "insurance". Insurance is providing coverage for a potentially financially damaging event which might occur. When you pay for something like birth control you are providing an employee benefit but not insurance. That is part of the problem with our medical system. Its part employer benefit, part insurance and now just a political mess.
ReplyDeleteU.S. Supreme Court has now permitted Sharia Law in the workplace. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteTea Baggers are America's Taliban.
ReplyDeleteAnd funny that those Catholics on the bench majorities opinion make explicit langauge on blood tranfusions, screams we're not Jahovoahs Witnesses!
Funny that thoes good christans that own Hobby Lobby don't mind one bit to sell a store full of crap made by 9 yr olds
ReplyDeleteBuy your own abortion pills ladies!
ReplyDeleteIt has nothing to do with religion or morals or values.
ReplyDeleteIt's just about controlling their female employees and attacking Obama.
A majority of states required contraception coverage before the ACA and neither Hobby Lobby nor the Catholic Bishops said one damn word about it. They complied without complaint.
Obama decides to give health care to everyone, and then decides, after consultation with the medical establishment, to include contraception as basic care, since 99% of American women use it at some point in their lives. That should pretty much be he definition of "basic".
BOOM! Bishops and Hobby Lobby and other Obama haters jump on the "contraception is abortion (even though that's been disproven)" bandwagon and claim they'll never comply with the law...even though they have complied with the law on a state-by-state basis for DECADES.
This was bigotry and hatred justified by bigoted and hateful justices who ignored all precedent. It opens the door wide for all corporations to challenge any federal requirement. There's no requirement to adhere to the truth: simply claiming a 'sincere belief' is good enough! Hypocrisy is irrelevant.
Are you a corporation? No? Then your rights are meaningless.
