Help Kansas City Hobos Sweating It Out

Linking this is actually the closest we get to public service . . . Then again, earlier this week I have a hobo my half empty water bottle because it looked like she needed more than I did.

Obviously, our TKC blog community is filled to the brim with humanitarians . . .

City Union Mission in need of donations this summer

Deets . . .

"During the summer months, the City Union Mission will serve more than 23,000 meals, which is comparable to what they serve in the winter.

"And on extremely hot days, 90 degrees or above, the Mission will use tons of resources."

And this is simply linked to remind folks that things often feel as bad ad they look on the other side of the air-conditioned glass.

We, the humanitarians of this blog site, thank you for this public service announcement.

Now.....let's get back to Jordan Carver, Denise Milani, and Holly Peers.

My great-grandmother lived her entire 91 years without air conditioning or central heating. She thought a fan was wonderful because she lived some pretty hot summers without electricity. I'm all out of caring.
