Clear The Way For Kansas City Cyclists

The other side of this story is the roads are shrinking for Kansas City drivers . . .

Fox4: Metro bicyclists could see dedicated bike lanes widened

What's worse is that BARELY ANYBODY USES KANSAS CITY BIKE LANES . . . The aggressive cyclists are out in the middle of the street and everybody else wouldn't dare risk it on a main road. For the most part this is KCMO and MoDOT giving into to a very vocal middle-class white people hobbyist lobby who operate mostly in misguided theory about real world transportation.

  1. Perfect. I'm getting ready to ride my bike to my noon job interview downtown. Should be a nice, calm ride to help clear the head beforehand.

  2. Just added cutter wings to my giant pope bumper on my pickup. Perfect to slice bikes to shreds. Pedal pussies love the feel of a skinny seat up their asses. Just like the faggots.

  3. Avid cyclist here and agree with comments about bike lanes. Nothing pisses me off more than seeing bikers using the street when there is an improved shoulder or bike lane -- kind of gives the rest of us a bad name.

The irony is that the group who demands those lanes ends up being the same group who bikes in the right hand street lane when there is a perfectly usable bike lane or paved shoulder.

  5. Could see bicyclist lanes widened because nobody ever, EVER uses them. Wow. That's money well spent in old CK. Nevermind the countless homeless people, the condition of neighborhoods. Nope. Those things simply are unimportant when it comes to real needs of Kansas citians. Why do people still live here again?

  6. Midtown will look like Hong Kong if these faux urbanists get their way.

  7. I use the bicycle lanes and I think we need more.

  8. US automobile sales have raced to their highest level in almost eight years so far in 2014.

  9. Widened bike lanes could be death traps once those soccer mom SUVs see them.

  10. Barely anybody uses the highways here, either. We have the MOST PER CAPITA in the country.

And auto use is stagnate. Purchases might be up, but use is flat. Unlike bike and transit use, which are both growing.

Sorry, 9:58. You propaganda is easily disproven.
