TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! TRANSIT ACTIVIST CLAY CHASTAIN REAX TO KANSAS CITY LIGHT RAIL BALLOT LANGUAGE: DICTATORIAL GOVERNMENT MANIPULATES!!!

Kansas City light rail language was released today . . .

Even better . . .

HERE'S FIRST WORD FROM CLAY CHASTAIN AND HIS OUTRAGE OVER THE BALLOT LANGUAGE FROM KANSAS CITY!!!

Like it or not, this could mean another court case facing Kansas City . . .

Clay Chastain Seyz . . .

Today, Kansas City's government filed in court proposed light rail initiative ballot language that not only does not honor the intent of the light rail initiative signed by 5,000 citizens or suggest a specific transportation use for the taxes raised, but also does not even include the words light rail.

Missouri case law says, "Initiatives shall be liberally construed to effectuate their purpose."

Mayor James and the City Council have narrowly construed the light rail initiative in attempt to kill its purpose.

Kansas City's self-serving government has, yet again, acted in bad faith in deserting the public interest in favor of its own.

The City's manipulation of the American Democratic election process in order to protect its own interests (expansion of the City's 2.2 mile streetcar line) is government gone mad with power.

We will not back down to this dictatorial government.

  3. I'm not a lawyer, but I play one on tv: The Supremes have spoken. The ballot language was not properly written in the first place. I love love love the idea of a light rail spine from the airport to downtown, and so do a lot of people (as opposed to the streetcar) but this house was built on sand. Clay should have sought sound legal advice before his initiative. BUT - be cheered - now that Clay knows how not to do it, the Supremes have given him a nice road map for the second try.

  5. Screw Chastain. He should live here if he's going to be such a costly pain in the ass. His greatest ally? Richard Tolbert--that says enough.

Gotta give Clay one thing the citizens of Kansas City DOESNT have, and that is passion for something! Clay believes in his mission, Bill George believes in a taxi monopoly and has full control over ordinances to protect it, Clay on the other hand wont suck city government COCK - That same cock that works hard to fuck the people who elected the "current operating city officials in office" in their asses by not following through on their promises. There is no accountability in Kansas city, thats all government all departments, its all about money/power and never about the voters...just wait everything comes out in the wash..even your ignorance and stupidity for voting for who you have as mayor and city council...shame shame shame on you for thinking your were anything less than STUPID!!
