Deets:

"Cities across the country say they've had bad experiences with ambulance billing service Intermedix, but Kansas City, MO, says no company has a perfect record and it wants to hire Intermedix to bill patients for ambulance use."

Previously on TKC . . .

We noted KCFD worker rage on the topic.

We garnered quotes from nearby cities on their dissatisfaction with Intermedix.

Let's not forget that this company lost patient data . . .

Finally, our TKC Blog Community warns that all of this could end up raising Kansas City Ambulance rates.

  1. Maybe genocide is the solution since your readers seem to take to it.

  2. Gather them all up.
Line them up against a sturdy wall.
    Ready rifles.
    FIRE!

Advocating the genocide of children? Such a classy readership.

  3. If you saw the current city workers testify that they don't want work for a private company you would understand the poor collections the city has experienced. They could hardly form a coherent sentence so why would they be any good at billing anything more complicated than a lunch ticket?
Cambiano, the pathetic union head, thinks that is OK.

  4. In one year, when there are lower expenses and higher collections, Sly is going to look like a genius. Union will still grumble, but they need to worry about unscrewing the mess they've made of the ambulance service.

  5. In one year when we find out how much you guys got paid to force the deal he won't look so smart.

  6. Slys machine must stopped, we can't afford it anymore.

  7. Out sourcing these jobs is straight out of the ALEC handbook. Dedicated employees are shipped out or marginalized to make way for corporate greed. When this billing company doesn't live up to their own hype it will become a revolving door of out of town criminal corporations.

  8. It is really sad how KC government milks the blood out of local business, but is soooo quick to go outside the city for services that are available in abundance right here is Kansas City.

  9. So on the same day they are trying to sell off 25 Kansas City resident's jobs to the lowest out of state bidder, they give out $8 million to their buddies to build Sly's toy train that hasn't even been approved yet by voters!? http://youtu.be/4s6upBTiyFA

  10. Reposting your own lame YouTube "polemic" multiple time in one day is pretty desperate, even by the desperate standards and the Danny and Sherrie show. It mud suck when even your neighbors figure out you're full of shit and spewing lies and start ignoring you (like the other 60% of brookside always did).

Why don't you tell us again about how the city "stole" sewer money for sewer upgrades, or about how there's a secret plot to run te baby killing toy train boondoggle unjust undue burden right through our very own back yards!

Getting pitiful. You clown must have finally seen a poll.

Too bad your dragging the FD and it's good reputation down with you. Must have met some suckers from the FD on Facebook. If you stop the TDD, did you promise to reopen they're fire stations in brookside and waldo with your power and influence?

All aboard the toy crazy train! Destination, brookside minority! Cost of ticket: self respect, and everyone else's too.
