The tenure of Jackson County Prosecutor "Mean" Jean Peters Baker has been marked by serious questions about her administrative ability given so many complaints about light sentences for criminals and office management tactics used against workers.
And now . . .
THE JACKSON COUNTY PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE FACES A DISABILITY DISCRIMINATION LAWSUIT TODAY!!!
The deets of the case are pretty tragic and they involve a depressed and grieving worker who allegedly wasn't allowed reasonable accommodation and was then fired amid office controversy. If the case is successful, Prosecutor Peters-Baker would likely earn her "Mean Jean" moniker for all the wrong reasons.
Seriously, behind the scenes we've heard about a great deal of discontent @ The Courthouse on everything from Calvin's extended vacay to IT complaints and now discrimination . . . Like it or not, it seems the other side of 12th & Oak is in an uproar amid an upcoming election season that's sure to be interesting.

Calvin has been a pain in the ass to everyone because he has a two month vacation in Central America scheduled for this summer. Two full months. Nobody can accrue two months paid vacation under Jackson County employment policies. It is long past time to fire Calvin Williford.

Government employees that do not show up for work on time and work 8 hours - at a MINIMUM if you are salaried - should be fired. The taxpaying citizens expect nothing less. Make Cathy Jolly an hourly employee and I bet you will see a lot more of her (but still doing nothing).

That began with appointing Mean Jean as prosecutor. So what if niggers are crying about being depressed? ReplyDeleteAfter some discussions with long-time, career, non-political, Jackson County employees tonight, it is my understanding that Mr. Williford is the highest paid employee of the county, but it is true that he only works ten months a year. That is not how it works in the private sector.
