Kansas City will welcome Hillary Clinton @ the Midland Theater tomorrow amid presidential election buzz and the sad fact that all the blood and treasure spilled in Iraq was probably all for nothing according to our far more cynical local Dead Tree Media.
While most locals who pretend to understand international affairs are either delusional or willfully naive . . . There's no question that hardline Democrats are already trying to stir excitement over a Hillary Clinton presidency.

DESPITE TYPICAL REACTIONARY HATERATION . . . DOES KANSAS CITY HAVE A REASON TO GET EXCITED ABOUT HILLARY FOR PREZ?!!?!?
That's an honest question . . . It's too easy to hate on her but it's hard to argue that there's a reason anybody should really get excited about her bid.
On the other hand . . .
IF THE GOP CAN'T BEAT HILLARY THEN THEY MIGHT AS WELL CANCEL THEIR PARTY ALTOGETHER!!!
Again, these national issues are fun but pointless to kick-around. Kansas City seems far more concerned about jobs, eco-devo, taxes, TIF and crime to really waste too much time worrying about this lady's rise to power.
However . . .

From Mayor Pro Tem Cindy Ciro to JaxCo No-Show Crystal Williams . . . This lady politico gang might have been just about the worst thing to happen to Kansas City and now that all of the broads are termed out the City Council . . . The argument for national leadership purely because of girl power is kinda of frightening.

The Republicans splitting into a more nationalistic and libertarian party will draw away some of the Democrat and Republican party base.
