I didn't think Johnson County would tolerate Brownback much longer on schools and education.
ReplyDeleteWithin a couple of years, nobody in Kansas, whatever their politics, will be able to doubt that Brownback is the American equivalent of Pol Pot, and that Kansas has been turned into a hellhole whose backwardness rivals or exceeds Mississippi and Alabama, perennially the poorest and most primitive states in the union.
ReplyDeleteIn case you don't know who Pol Pot was, he was a dictator who ruled Cambodia in the 1970s. He murdered hundreds of thousands of his people and reduced the country to a level of backwardness it still is struggling with.
Like Brownback, Pol Pot was prone to twisted and authoritarian magical thinking, which in Cambodia's case he turned into government policy that resulted in mass executions and enslavement for millions of Cambodians.
An example: Pol Pot decreed that Cambodia's problems were caused by the nation's intellectuals. The solution, of course, was to get rid of them. But how do you do that? How do you define who is an intellectual?
No problem for Pol Pot. He decreed that anyone who wore eyeglasses was an intellectual and therefore, an enemy of the nation. All glasses wearers were shot or imprisoned as slave laborers.
I'm positive (pretty much) that the Brownback and Davis campaigns rely on TKC's info for their campaigns. Well, actually I'm not all that positive they do..ahhh, better change that to not at all likely. Sorry Tony, better stick to the T & A's.
