Peace on The Plaza This Weekend

For the first time in about a month, Saturday night on the Kansas City Country Club Plaza proved peaceful.

The KCPD Police Chief offers this quick update:

It's too early to tell if flash mob control strategies are working but, clearly, this is a hopeful sign at the outset of the Summer and given so many local resources dedicated to preserving this town's premiere shopping experience.

  5. But, but, but....that's not fair!!! Suburban anonymous racists and trolls on the internet said the plaza was a war zone and was "over" and "CK" (hahahhaha get it?) was a wasteland of violence and also nothin to do and this news is not the news that I agree with!

I'm going to go bite my Poverland Oark pillow!!!!!!!!

  7. Reverend Reason6/1/14, 1:35 PM

Congressman the Reverend Emanuel Cleaver released a short video yesterday delivering a short homily on civility and use the example of the bee as an analogy of hurting others. Congressman Cleaver noted that when the bee stings, it loses its stinger and dies. This is from a man who called Republicans Satanists and lied about being spit upon and being called a “nigger” by a Tea Party member.

I offer this counter homily I offer this counter homily to Reverend Cleavers inspirational message:

In the country we humans live with raccoons of which we refer to as coons. We try to live in harmony with the coons and respect their habitat but they do not return the favor. They get into our porches and attics and damage them, defecate in them and have their babies. We hope their babies will learn from this and be more considerate towards their human hosts but that is not the case. Each generation of coons return to damage more house, defecate in them and have more babies. We plant a garden but the coons do not respect our poverty but destroy the garden and take from it what they want and many times not what they need. We realize the coons have families to feed so we leave out food for them but they do not appreciate it. The more food we leave out the more food they take. When we don’t leave out food, the coons become angry and do more damage. If we didn’t think the coons could do more damage, they now carry rabies and now we have no choice but to hunt them all because coons couldn’t act like humans. I still wonder why coons can’t act like humans.
