  2. The music is stupid and very distracting.

That fucking streetcar is just money down a fucking rat hole.

Showing trash in the streets is unnecessary, cause, you could give a billion dollars to 64131 and there would still be trash in the streets.

  29. Wonder if there's any cities in American with public transit and good fire departments. Probably not. Can't have both. It's impossible. If you pay any money for good transit you can't have anything else. Cities can only do one thing at a time.

  33. 2011 - Out of an unusually deep selection of plausible mayoral candidates, one stands out as the person who can work with others to move this entire city forward. More than any other candidate, Sly James will bring maturity, analytical skills, and simple likability to the Mayor’s office. His background in working with others to achieve goals means that he will blend the ability to achieve consensus without sinking into the dangerous and destructive “group-think” that polluted the majority of the City Council and exacerbated the current mayor’s significant flaws.

    ROFLMAO!

    ReplyDelete
  34. Is it to late to kick this guy out before he does anymore damage?

    ReplyDelete
  35. My 5 year old daughter can get the distinction between CAPITAL expenditures and operating costs. Streetcar is capital, fire station is operating.

I have seen this happen in numerous cities. If I were the Mayor, I would insist on an acknowledgement from the local union that stated that they understand that grant funds will not go on forever, and that when the funding stream stops, the station will close.

Fire unions have used this strategy for decades. Buy expensive toys with one time funds and leave the tax payer with the on-going responsibility.

For Tony to assert that the street car is taking from the fire safety is misleading and inaccurate.

But what is new in the land of cum-rape guys, hooded bears, and haters of any local sport team?

    ReplyDelete
  36. Kick him out before KC builds anymore viable, effective, efficient infrastructure and invests anymore in its hard hit but finally rebounding urban core!

Stop progress! Bring back the 80s! Hurry before it's too late and KC becomes better than it was instead of continues to fall behind peers with gay shit like transportation options and new buildings and residents and growth!

Fuck all that. Let's build some more sprawl in the northland and joco. Wave of the future (if you're stuck in the past)

    ReplyDelete
  37. Fire fighters should go on strike.

Time to play hardball with these politicos

    ReplyDelete
  38. Yes let's just bankrupt KC as effectively, efficiently, and quickly as possible so dimwit cluesless kids don't have to feel like they are not keeping up with their peers.

    ReplyDelete
  39. We're gonna tax you fuckers to death and build Street Cars all over the city. Don't matter if it cost billions, don't matter if anyone rides it, don't matter if you don't like it. If you don't like it LEAVE!

    ReplyDelete

    1. You fucking idiot, how in the world would kc go bankrupt by not investing in transit? You are a fucking dumbass. The whole spend money to make money doesn't make sense when you spend $500,000,000 to try and make money. Go fuck yourself you liberal piece of shit!

      Delete
  42. The Fire/Police Dept should vote against the transportation tax and let them know that they won't have city services decline because part of that money is going to the streetcars $35 million .

    ReplyDelete
  43. None of the money used for the streetcar could have been used for he FD. The 2 things are unrelated. This is just a straw man for the anti everything league to argue against. They got Rex's money but not his brains. Dan Coffey is a fucking dolt.

    ReplyDelete
  44. So I don't see where PIAC funds should be used for the study of streetcars and that was done.
Fire funds where also taken before for other projects.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Interesting these frauds feel the need to spend north of half a billion on this idiotic outdated form of snail transportation. Especially considering existing resources could be redeployed like they are doing in Houston and Columbus without spending a single extra dime!!

    ReplyDelete
  46. ATA already redeployed like Columbus and Houston. In fact they did it before either of those cities. Quite successfully, in point of fact.

And PIAC funds can't be used for the FD, you fucking simpletons. Transit infrastructure is actually exactly what PIAC funds are for. Pissing it away on northland sprawl where no one lives is what a thinking person would be up in arms about. Sewers to nowhere, unnecessary and unsafe road widenings, freeway construction no one drives on, and other bullshit.

    ReplyDelete
  47. No they didn't 9:18. Houston and Columbus are just starting on this and are getting real public feedback so people get what they need. Not what a clique thinks they should get.

    Nice try anyway.
