Ways your business can lend its support:
WELCOME RNC ON YOUR MARQUEE – Billboards, lighting displays and other official signage throughout the metro will help welcome the RNC delegation June 4-6. To show your support in bringing this event to KC, display “Welcome RNC” on your outdoor marquees and electronic signage. If you have the ability to include graphics, contact us for the official logo and other KC 2016 visuals. We suggest using the organization’s primary color (red) whenever possible.
Please e-mail or tag your photos on social media with #KCRNC2016 so that we can share them with the RNC. We’ll also post some of the best images online and in social media.
LEAVE THE LIGHTS ON – To help showcase our revitalized downtown, we encourage downtown buildings and offices leave their lights on for the evenings of Wednesday and Thursday, June 4 & 5.
VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME – A limited number of volunteers are needed to assist during the site selection visit June 4-6. Complete our sign-up sheet if you are interested in assisting next week, or in the future.
CAST A VOTE FOR KC – Show your civic pride and vote for KC in the RNC’s quick online poll for the 2016 convention city: gop.com/act/choose-the-city. Each e-mail address can vote only once. Note that this is an RNC poll and you may receive periodic politic messages after voting.
All of these suggestions are important and promote Kansas City civic pride that will serve this town well when the Convention eventually goes to Dallas for reasons that have a lot more to do with demographics than the hokey image this cowtown provides . . .
