MUST SEE!!! CHECKLIST: HERE'S HOW TO BECOME PART OF KANSAS CITY'S GOP CONVENTION 2016 LOSING EFFORT!!!

Some of the most KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTERS remind us that even the most lowly Kansas City resident or small biz owner can play a part in national politics and help Mayor Sly drink expensive scotch with national power brokers . . .

To wit . . .

TAKE A LOOK AT KANSAS CITY'S GOP CONVENTION CHECKLIST FOR RESIDENTS AND SMALL BIZ OWNERS THIS WEEK!!!

Here's the guide i.e. marching orders from Mayor Sly's Chief of staff John McGurk and his wife . . .

RNC Site Visit Next Week: Here’s How You Can Help

Read closely . . . Then burn . . .

Ways your business can lend its support:

WELCOME RNC ON YOUR MARQUEE – Billboards, lighting displays and other official signage throughout the metro will help welcome the RNC delegation June 4-6. To show your support in bringing this event to KC, display “Welcome RNC” on your outdoor marquees and electronic signage. If you have the ability to include graphics, contact us for the official logo and other KC 2016 visuals. We suggest using the organization’s primary color (red) whenever possible.

Please e-mail or tag your photos on social media with #KCRNC2016 so that we can share them with the RNC. We’ll also post some of the best images online and in social media.

LEAVE THE LIGHTS ON – To help showcase our revitalized downtown, we encourage downtown buildings and offices leave their lights on for the evenings of Wednesday and Thursday, June 4 & 5.

VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME – A limited number of volunteers are needed to assist during the site selection visit June 4-6. Complete our sign-up sheet if you are interested in assisting next week, or in the future.

CAST A VOTE FOR KC – Show your civic pride and vote for KC in the RNC’s quick online poll for the 2016 convention city: gop.com/act/choose-the-city. Each e-mail address can vote only once. Note that this is an RNC poll and you may receive periodic politic messages after voting.
#############

All of these suggestions are important and promote Kansas City civic pride that will serve this town well when the Convention eventually goes to Dallas for reasons that have a lot more to do with demographics than the hokey image this cowtown provides . . .

Not a big surprise, this reminds you of a kid's idea of putting on a show. Maybe bus some people in from the suburbs and rent cars for a couple days to show how dynamic and bustling downtown is. A zombie march through Crossroads would be good. And be sure to replace all the broken sidewalks and dead trees and shrubs that have been that way for years. And be sure to take down all the tied old shabby All Star Game street banners.
Spend lots of money to try to trick these GOPers for a couple days and then ignore the folks who actually live here, as usual.
This convention ain't coming to town.

We checked out Kansas City for our convention.

All the lights were on, but nobody was home.

See you in Dallas.

GOP-16 .........LMFAO...... one sniff of Westport

on a weekend morning and/or a south wind

blowing off Turd Creek on the Plaza and GOP-16

will cross off Killa City real quick.

Let's not forget the troupe of monkey that

descend on the Plaza on weekend nights.

But the Killa City is a "Destination City" for

young families, new businesses, and a

destination vacation location. Still laughing....

You can't make this bullshit up.....only Killa City.

I voted Cincinnati. Maybe we lack solidarity on this issue?

There are a myriad of reasons why the GOP will choose Dallas over KC. There is a huge multimedia pipeline that is incredibly press friendly. Google totally missed the boat in getting gigabit infrastructure into the city and also missed the free promotional mentions that would have been huge for Google. Lack of a real facility, lack of decent housing, food service and transportation are other reasons. Of course the GOP has to be asking why Sly didn't pitch KC to the Democrats.

In terms of tech, logistics, sipplu chain and plain old convenience KC is far from being current with the 2016 world as the city fathers will learn when they are watching the convention on TV live from Dallas. Happy trolly cars.
