Kansas City Northland Suspicious Death

Check this report on Tuesday of what could be another lsignal that life is getting rough across the bridge as well . . .

Fox4: Police investigate suspicious death of 18-year-old found inside vehicle

(Probably a really sad cloudy day suicide) BUT If this turns out to be a homicide it would put Kansas City @ 32 murders so far this year vs. 39 at this time last year.

Developing . . .

City Hall should submit another emergency tax hike to subsidize a "you'll get used to it" ad campaign.

The only month in 2014 that had fewer homicides than last year was February, and that was because of the cold and snow.
While it's great that there are fewer murder year-to-date than last year, the reduction hasn't has anything to do with all the money spent and new programs rolled out with such fanfare.
And the number of shooting victims who haven't died due to the poor aim or small caliber weapons of the shooters whouldn't exactly make anyone feel good about the reduction in homicides.
KCMO will finish this year with between 103 and 107 murders, just like always.
