KANSAS CITY HOMICIDE THIS MORNING!!!

The level of local homicide and violence is picking up already this morning.

Check it:

Just Moments Ago The KCPD Chief Tweeted: Detectives remain at scene of the homicide. This is the second homicide within a 12 hr period. One solved

And Tuesday already begins violently . . . Unofficially, the KCMO homicide count is now 30 compared to 36 at this time last year.

  3. I read that each individual homicide case costs the city over 100K.

The "Hot Spot" program, while well intentioned, is a loser.

We need a "Sensory Overload Program".

The cost of fuel and produce would be far less than the cost of investigations. Keep helicopters in the sky from May 1st to Thanksgiving, dropping banannas into 64131 from 4PM every day until midnight.

NOW, we can buy us some streeet car muthafuckas!!

  4. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and we can break our old record - you can do it ghetto.

Hot Spot is only useful so KCPD knows where NOT to patrol - they prefer clean-up duty.

  5. More cops, more often in high-crime areas.
Cooperation from residents who are tired of having their neighborhoods ruled by gangsters and thugs.
Pretty much everything else is windowdressing and fluff.
Including the tens of millions spent on toys like ShotSpotter and worthless jobs programs like Aim4Peace and the endless list of nonprofits.

  6. The Bear agrees with your KCPD post 7:00am but he does not endorse killing of any type. Other than death penalty for those who kill others.

Unfortunately warm weather is on the horizon. The tree dwellers will come out with a vengeance once it heats up. They are much like the common lizard. They need warmth to do their best work.
