DOUBLE SHOOTING AFTERMATH!!! DEADLY GUNFIRE ON KANSAS CITY DADDY'S DAY!!!

It seems as if this local love fest day has met with a reality check as the quotient of Kansas City deadly gunfire remains constant.

Check it:

KCPD Chief Twitter: One of the victims from the shooting at 6th and Grand has died. Detectives continue to investigate. Identity not being released.

Across the State Line:

Kansas City Kansan: KCK police investigating shooting on Quindaro Boulevard

Fox4: "KCK police involved in active standoff with shooting suspects"

And so we prepare for the upcoming week with a reminder that the upcoming Summer season of death and violence still looms ominously in the not to distant future.

Developing . . .

Fact check:

2014 is almost half over and homicides are down by 25% from this time last year.

Fear check:

Tonys Johnson county = Stormfront.com for the scared stupid suburban set

@6:12
KCMO homicides are down by 25% so maybe in 2014 a city of only 464,000 people will have less than 33% of the number of murders of New York, which has a population 16 times as large.
Rounding errors, luck, bad aims, and small caliber weapons are hardly progress.
The biggest contributors to the murder decrease are the docs and nurses in the local ERs.
And anyone who thinks that this level of violence, which has gone on for many years, is really all just a part of living in an "urban environment" is living in a fantasy world.
All these millenials, hiopsters, and urban pioneers are just one carjacking, mugging, or home invasion away from becoming suburbanites north of the river.

Where they will be statistically more likely to die in a horrendous car wreck on a 16 lane interstate to nowhere...
