Just blogging this because every doggie on Kansas City's Westside is going insane right now . . . Maybe sensing more Republican guests or sinister plots.
Anyhoo . . .
TONIGHT KANSAS CITY DEDICATED A FIREWORKS DISPLAY GRAND FINALE TO REPUBLICAN VISITORS!!!
Here's a better look and a photo I'm stealing because local taxpayers are contributing to this effort more than anybody expected AND without a vote . . .
So this is the big finish from Kansas City . . . If it follows the pattern of most big bursts/busts in Kansas City there will be more than enough guilt, blame and regret to pass around afterwards.
And on that tragic note . . .
Hopefully, we'll have more BREAKING/EXCLUSIVE NEWS, discussion, debate, discourse, our share of hateration and all kinds of good stuff for the morning update . . . STAY TUNED!!!

A well-dressed stranger shows up in your small town and proceeds to seduce the local downtown merchants with tales of bringing caravans of tourists who have plenty of money and are eager to spend it, if only they knew where your town was located.
ReplyDeleteWell, the Chamber of Commerce quickly sees to it that the visiting businessman gets a free room at the best local hotel and free meals at the restaurants in town. Also, it seems the friendly stranger has lost his wallet, so they forward him some spending cash.....seeing how he's going to make them all prosperous with increased sales.
When the stranger fails to show at the appointed time the next morning, to finalize the business plans, the Chamber executives venture over to the hotel and learn that the stranger left in the middle of the night ..... something about a family emergency back East.
They never did hear from that man again....he sure was a nice guy though!

DeleteFirework prices must have skyrocketed! Lol, 4th of July shows around here run anywhere between 30k-50k. There we're nowhere near $500,000 worth of fireworks in that display. I hope that was an uneducated guess.
