No it's because more people work in Kansas than say Missouri. So more workers means more chance of people getting hurt. Now in Missouri people just sit at home in the double wide (if one had parents with money) or a camping trailer and do meth all day. Hard to get hurt that way unless you fall down on the way to your dealers double wide.
What do you expect from one of the most backward states north of the Mason-Dixon line? Brownbackistan is a jungle.
