"Members of the Westboro Baptist Church have vowed to picket the 68-year-old superstar's May 31 concert at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo. Slamming Cher as a "bundle of confusion," Westboro officials cited the pop diva's longtime commitment to her gay and lesbian fan base, as well as her transgender son, Chaz Bono, in their pledge."
First of all, if Cher is 68 . . . Who is that woman on her concert photos? Also, I don't know for sure but I'm guessing it would be awfully hard to protest Cher given that she has so many impersonators. Finally, and this is halfway serious . . . Nowadays, it's typically the counter-protest outrage that's really noteworthy and newsworthy when discussion of Westboro Baptist Church inevitably makes the mainstream media.
