TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! OCCUPY KC ACTIVISTS RAGE OVER NEW YORK TIMES DOX REVEALING KANSAS CITY HOMELAND SECURITY SPYING!!!

Take a look @ local grassroots protest coverage that mainstream media is too scared to publish.

To wit . . .

OCCUPY KC ACTIVIST SENT WORD OUR WAY THAT KANSAS CITY PROVED TO BE THE CENTER OF GOVERNMENT SPYING EFFORTS ON THEIR MOVEMENT!!!

And here's part of an EXCLUSIVE quote from an Occupy KC Power Player . . .

"Proof that KCPD Homeland Security Unit spied on Occupy KC!"

Read and judge ALL OF THE INFORMATION for yourself via a better newspaper than our Cowtown rag . . .

New York Times: Government Surveillance of the Occupy Protests

Deets on these dox:

"The following documents, distributed by people working with counterterrorism and intelligence-sharing offices known as “fusion centers,” are a selection from among about 4,000 pages of unclassified emails and reports obtained through freedom of information requests by lawyers at the Partnership for Civil Justice Fund, who represent Occupy participants. The documents, which they provided to The New York Times, offer details of the scrutiny of the Occupy protests in 2011 and 2012 by law enforcement officers, federal officials, security contractors and others."

Now . . .

CHECK THE NOTE REVEALING HOMELAND SECURITY COUNTER-INTELLIGENCE ON KANSAS CITY OCCUPY ACTIVISTS!!!

"In the email below, an intelligence analyst working with the Kansas City Regional Terrorism Early Warning Group wrote to the Washington Regional Threat and Analysis Center about members of Occupy Kansas who were planning a trip to Washington. The analyst included a link to a publicly posted video showing the activists discussing the plan, with annotations noting where in the video they discussed aspects like scheduling, number of people, funding and protests."

I'm sensing that one of the main argument here is that this kind of heavy surveillance was unwarranted given that Occupy Activists were mostly about fighting big banks, the Wall St. 1% and wage disparity. Either way, the surveillance that reached all the way to our broke-ass part of town is now documented fact.

Developing . . .

  1. TKC, I think a better argument would be to look at the KCMO murder rate for those years and then question why those resources weren't being used on more urgent local matters rather than keeping tabs on the hippy-dippys.

  2. I wonder whether they spied on the Missouri Town NAZI/KKK rally organizers like Ralph Monaco?

  3. Is Caleb occupying?

  4. The problem with the occupiers is that many of them believe the solution to these sorts of problems is more government.

  5. What a complete joke.
Occupy KC was about the biggest bunch of losers and wannabees that have come along for a very long time, and in KCMO that's really saying something.
Was the PETA meat protest under surveillance?
    Pitiful.

  6. I remember, when we were destroying the constitution and setting up all these anti terrorist organizations, how the phrase "Homeland" and "Homeland Security" had this sort of Communist Russia ring to it. Reminded me of phrases like, "Motherland" and "Security of the Motherland" that was often used by the Soviet leadership in the cold war days. So here we pass all these anti terrorist laws and create this DHS thing and it turns out that these thousands of government agents we hired are not about fighting terrorism, but they are using laws created to fight terrorists against normal everyday citizens right here in America. DHS circumvents the constitution citing national security as the reason and the dumb ass public jumps on the bandwagon like this is all a good thing. How is it we go from the peace and love generation to a scheme where the government is checking your skivies at the airport - in the name of freedom and security no less? How do we go from having the right to privacy in our own homes to having police pounding on the door with a search warrant because you purchased items to grow tomatoes? I would suggest it is time to rein in these government sponsored storm troopers before we realize the terrorists are boyscouts in comparison.

  10. Once again comments here and elsewhere just go to show no one really knows who the major players were and what they were really doing. Read something besides the Star and watch something other than lamestream media that get their talking points from big corporations and politicians.

  20. Crime pays....................5/25/14, 6:52 AM

The Judicial System is one of the biggest rip offs of taxpayer monies.

It's happening right under our noses yet we continue to allow it. It's not about stopping crime....it's about "selective response" to crime. Or to simplify it for you d-bags, which crimes can we make the most $$$$$ on .

No money in solving murders. Much like a traffic accident. Notice how long it takes to clear a wreck scene? 10 cops standing around looking stupid, fingers up their asses, while traffic is backed up for 2 miles. They milk the clock for a few hours on a wreck that could be cleared in 15 minutes max.

More money, including overtime, made standing around looking at people driving by at a slow speed while 3 lanes of traffic are blocked.

    1. Same with property crimes, roadrage traffic offenses and people who don't have insurance. Those things are not pursued because they are not revenue producing. If these things happen you are on your own But go 10 over the speed limit in the middle of nowhere and poof...a cop appears. Oh, and by the way, the more chicken shit traffic tickets they write the more overtime and bonuses the cops get. That is jacked up. Once again the law abiding tax payers who do carry insurance lose.

  22. I'm not a big fan of the cops, but them viewing a video openly posted on the internet doesn't exactly strike me as "spying".
