Friendships are a wonderful thing in Kansas City and especially for City Hall Insider POWER BROKERS like our Mayor Pro Tem Cindy Circo.
In fact, this local lady is soooooooo strong that she let Jackson County Legislator Theresa Garza Ruiz move in to her house in order to build residency and still has the fortitude to dress up like Super Girl.
This morning we have a bit more proof that being friends with Mayor Pro Tem Cindy Circo might be very strong indicator of future success.

THE MOST KICK-ASS KANSAS CITY INSIDERS INFORM US THAT CINDY CIRCO'S RIGHT HAND MAN TRAVIS LEVITT LEAVES CITY HALL TODAY TO TAKE A JOB WITH BURNS AND MAC!!!
It doesn't say so on his LinkedIn profile but City Hall denizens are struggling to find a way to avoid yet another uncomfortable conversation with the guy before he takes off . . .
What does Travis do? WHAT DOESN'T HE DO??? Honestly, I don't know. His resume mostly includes political campaigns so I'm guessing he'll be an engineer, executive or maybe a footstool for one of the VPs when he arrives @

As for Cindy . . . Clearly she has a lot to teach people and her recent candidate training school @ Burns and Mac seems to be only the very beginning of the lessons she is laying down.
Of course the link betwixt Burns & Mac and Cindy and her assistant might not be a conflict and everyone in local politics has a pure heart . . . In fact, we're waiting for Dave Helling to write Cindy another excuse note to get out of any uncomfortable ethics questions . . . But our most astute readers still think it's "very shady" and offers a bit more insight into the close connections betwixt Kansas City corporations and the power players at City Hall.
